We are basically helpless just like the kids now grown up, yet still helpless in many ways. These message boards and blogs give us a place to vent and let it all out and for that I am thankful. I have two kids, a young woman and young man that I can't even imagine being subject to this type of abuse. There are so many less fortunate kids out there and Sandusky preyed on them. A seemingly goog thing, this Second Mile is now forever tarnished because so many of the presumed adults running the place were derelict, negligent and criminal. The very youth's who were most at risk were taken advantage of in the worst way imaginable by individuals in that community that were just downright sick. Everyone top to bottom that knew of the abuses from years past till today are beyond guilty.

There is nothing more that really needs to be done except what is right for once. Over a decade of abuse and hopefully someone with courage must stand up and say no more. I sincerely hope the citizens of Pennslyvania will demand justice.
